Volunteer Position: Social Media Manager

Location: Collin County 

About Us: LIFT R&R is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of underserved individuals in our community through essential resources, support services, and charitable events. We focus on connecting residents to resources and fostering long-term self-sufficiency for those in need.

Position Overview: Are you passionate about social media and its power to make a difference? LIFT R&R is seeking a creative and driven Social Media Manager Volunteer to join our team. In this role, you will help amplify our mission, engage our community, and drive awareness for our programs and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop and curate engaging content, including posts, graphics, and videos, that align with our mission and resonate with our audience.
  • Strategy Development: Create and execute social media strategies to increase our online presence and foster community engagement.
  • Community Engagement: Manage and grow our social media platforms by interacting with followers, responding to comments, and fostering positive relationships.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and implement social media campaigns to promote upcoming events, initiatives, and success stories.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of our strategies and provide recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and best practices.
  • Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Passion for nonprofit work and commitment to LIFT R&R’s mission.
