Fundraiser for LIFT R&R

Position Overview: LIFT R&R is seeking a dynamic and motivated Fundraiser to join our team. This role is crucial in driving our fundraising efforts and securing the financial resources needed to support our programs and services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our mission and skilled in creating and executing effective fundraising strategies. This is a volunteer opportunity with the potential for a Board of Directors appointment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Fundraising Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive fundraising plans, including events, campaigns, and initiatives to meet financial goals.
- Donor Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, ensuring regular communication and engagement.
- Event Planning: Organize and oversee fundraising events, including logistics, promotion, and execution to maximize attendance and donations.
- Grant Writing: Research and apply for grants, crafting compelling proposals to secure funding from foundations and other grant-giving organizations.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute online and offline fundraising campaigns, including social media, direct mail, and email outreach.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report on fundraising progress, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fundraising or related roles, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Strong skills in donor relations, event planning, and grant writing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in fundraising software and tools is a plus.
- Passion for nonprofit work and commitment to LIFT R&R’s mission.
