Brief Introduction:
Are you passionate about supporting neurodiverse individuals and their families? We invite you to volunteer for our Autism & ADHD Community Resource and Engagement Session, a vital initiative aimed at making neurodiversity-affirming resources more accessible. Navigating the world of Autism and ADHD can be daunting for parents, caregivers, and neurodivergent individuals. Our Community Resource and Engagement (CRE) sessions are designed to simplify this journey by offering practical, hands-on activities and connections to essential resources.
This session will feature engaging activities that help parents and caregivers better understand the unique neurological experiences of their children. It will also provide valuable insights and tools to support the emotional and executive functioning needs of neurodivergent children and adults. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to connect with a network of resources tailored to the specific needs of the Autism and ADHD community.
Snacks / Refreshments will be served.
Agenda for the session:
1) Neuro Inclusive Story - Understanding your Child’s Autistic Brain
2) Understanding your & your child’s Brain Story - ACTIVITY
3) Executive Functioning Dysfunction & Emotional Support in Autism & ADHD Children 4) Resource Connection (Learn about available resources)
