Incredible Fridays is a once-a-month respite ministry for families that have children with special needs. Parents bring children, including siblings without disabilities, to First McKinney for three hours. Parents can use this time to do whatever they want - shop, go on a date, relax, etc.. Each Incredible Friday includes crafts, games, video games, outdoor play and special entertainment such as; petting zoos, magicians, train, etc..
Volunteers are the backbone of this ministry. We have at least one buddy volunteer per child with special needs. These volunteers spend the evening building a relationship with these children as they go through the evening's activities!
