Who We Are
Incredible Kids is part of the Children's Ministry of First McKinney. This program grew out of First McKinney’s “Kids Incredible” program (Sunday am/Wednesday pm-has their room in the Children's Building).
First McKinney's mission is to make disciples who live and love like Jesus...so that our neighbors, the nations, and the next generation will follow Him.
Our Values

Ignited to Love - The love of Christ compels us to love others. This love runs through all social, racial, and demographic barriers and creates a culture of humble, authentic, and selfless friendships. (Matthew 22:35-40, Mark 12:28-31, Luke 10:25-28, John 13:34-35)
Developed in Relationship - The gospel grows at the speed of relationships, and lives are changed when people do life together. Discipleship begins in the home. (Proverbs 27:17, Acts 2:42, 1 Thessalonians 2:8, Deuteronomy 6:4-9)
Driven by Scripture - God’s love letter to man guides everything we do. God’s power is released in our life as we apply it. (Psalms 1:1-3, 2 Timothy 3:14-17, Matthew 5:17)
Demonstrated through Missions - Everything we do is focused on multiplying disciples. We seek to reach our neighbors, the nations, and the next generation. (Matthew 28:16-20, Mark 16:14-18, Luke 24:44-49, John 20:19-23, Acts 1:4-8)
What We Do
Incredible Fridays is a monthly respite ministry for families that have children with special needs. Parents bring their children, including siblings without disabilities, to First McKinney for three hours once a month. Parents can use this time to do whatever they want – shop, go on a date, relax. The program is free.
This program grew out of First McKinney’s “Kids Incredible” program (Sunday am/Wednesday pm-has their own room in the Children's Building). There is no age limit to this respite program. We do not require families to be or become church members. Volunteers do show God’s love to these children during all activities. Volunteers are the backbone of this ministry. We try to have one volunteer per each special needs child and one volunteer per 4-5 siblings. Younger siblings will have nursery care with paid workers. We believe in inclusion, not separation. We want the children to mingle with one another, but there will also be a quiet area with less stimulation for those who need it.
