Group leaders must be: 18+ and comfortable leading a group of motivated community members. Have some experience in one or more of the following:
painting
fence repair
plumbing
landscaping
basic home repair
The greatest need is for group leaders who meet the above qualifications. However, signups are still open to individuals who want to help and groups.

About Love Where You Live: Love Where You Live is a program of the City of Plano's Neighborhood Services department. The projects identified to allow the community to come together and help their neighbors to resolve common property code violations. For some members of the community, resolving these violations on their own may be difficult due to physical or financial hardship. LWYL events empower communities by demonstrating that acts of kindness bring people together, thus strengthening the community. It provides a vehicle for people to demonstrate compassion and kindness on a broad and collective basis. The effort builds bridges between demographic, socioeconomic, ideological, religious, and geographic barriers, resulting in community transformation.
