We'd be honored if you'd help us prepare for Another Man's Treasure. It's an exclusive annual event to provide assistance to eligible households at no charge.
The actual event will be held on 10/22/22 from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm at Victory Church at 1008 Erwin Avenue, McKinney Texas 75069 as part of Volunteer McKinney’s Make a Difference Day.
L.I.F.T. R&R's annual event is called “Another Man’s Treasure” and the focus is to help those in poverty by GIVING AWAY donated new and gently used clothing, household items, furniture, gift cards, etc. while providing face-to-face contact with nonprofits offering Free resources! We are very excited about this opportunity to serve our disadvantaged population yet again. Our 2020 goal for this event was 25 families, and we exceeded the goal by serving 37 families with direct impact. In 2021 we served over 40 households, and in 22 we are doing the same! We collaborated with multiple nonprofits including McKinney Family YMCA, Alliance for Elite Youth Leadership, HOPE Clinic, First United Bank, Victory Church, Aleph 2 Omega, TLT- Tomorrows Leaders for today, Baby Booties diaper bank, and more to ensure services covered geriatric to pediatric, along with businesses, and donors, to have not only physical giveaways but practical takeaways such as free resources for children, teens, and families.
