Who We Are

Our Mission: At Journey of Hope, we are on a mission to renew hope, foster healing, and develop resilience in the hearts of children grieving the death of a loved one.

Our Vision: We envision a day when every child in North Texas who experiences the death of a loved one will have access to necessary and appropriate support.

What We Do

Peer Grief Support Groups:

We provide no-cost peer grief support groups to:

  • children ages 4-18 and their adult caregivers
  • young adults between the ages of 18-25
  • all families regardless of religion, race, creed, or sexual orientation
  • families who have experienced any type of death or are anticipating a death

Community Bereavement Support:

Journey of Hope provides immediate and long-term bereavement support for children, teens and adults within community groups who have experienced a death.

Professional Training: 

We offer professional development and training workshops to educate individuals who work with children who may be grieving. We can tailor workshops to fit the needs of your school or organization.
