Turlaxin is Texas’ premier fall lacrosse tournament hosted by McKinney Lacrosse. It draws 200+ boys and girls teams across the state to McKinney, Texas. We need your help to make it a success!
We are looking for volunteers to work two-hour shifts between 7 AM and 7 PM on Saturday and Sunday on the weekend of October 26 & 27.
Opportunities include:
- setup and teardown fields
- scorekeeping
- keeping the fields on time
- giving directions to participating teams and their families
This opportunity is open to ages 14-80 years of age. The 7 AM and 5 PM shifts require the lifting and maneuvering of heavy equipment including goals and portable safety nets. All other shifts involve mostly sitting. You don't need any experience, instruction on your assignment will be provided.
Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Sunscreen and bug repellent are recommended as well as a refillable water bottle. Snacks will be provided.
When you arrive, let the parking attendant know you are a volunteer; you do not need to pay the entry fee. Check-in with the central tent for your assignment.
