Volunteers will assist with various tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, making beds, and deep cleaning kitchens. Your efforts ensure our clients start their new journey in a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
Time Commitment: On an as-needed basis
Responsibilities:
- Vacuuming and dusting all living spaces
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms
- Making beds and preparing sleeping areas
- Cleaning ceiling fans
- Thoroughly cleaning kitchens, including countertops, floors, refrigerators, shelves, microwaves, and ovens
Requirements:
- Flexibility to volunteer on an as-needed basis and respond to short-notice needs
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Respect for client privacy and property and sensitivity to their needs

Agape Resource & Assistance Center
The Agape Resource & Assistance Center in East Plano helps women, moms, and their children facing situational homelessness. With the help of caseworkers and counselors, women and children typically stay with Agape for six months to a year, during which they gain the skills, strength, and stability for self-sufficiency.
