We're moving to a new office in McKinney, and we need your helping hands to make it happen smoothly! This is a fantastic opportunity to support a local organization in a hands-on way. We need volunteers to assist with packing, transporting, and setting up our new space. Whether you can spare a few hours or the entire day, your time and effort will make a big difference.
What's Involved:
- Packing & Organizing (9 AM - 12 PM): The first task is to break down our shelving units and organize the contents into clear plastic bins for transport. Your organizational skills will be put to good use!
- Lunch Break (12 PM - 1 PM): Feel free to bring your own lunch and take a well-deserved break.
- Transport & Setup (1 PM - 4 PM): After lunch, we'll need help loading the bins and shelving units into vehicles for transport to our new office in McKinney. You'll also assist with unloading and setting up in the new space. If you have a vehicle that can carry these items, your help will be especially valuable!
Dates & Times:
- Primary Moving Day: Saturday, Sept. 7
- Backup Moving Day (if needed): Saturday, Sept. 14
What to Bring:
- Your own lunch if you're staying for the full day.
- Comfortable clothing suitable for moving.
- If possible, a vehicle that can help transport bins and shelving units.
