Become a Kitchen/Cafe Assistant at La Tiendita!
In this role, you'll assist in food preparation, including cutting fruits and vegetables, preparing small meals, making drinks and coffee, and taking customer orders. You'll need to have or obtain a food handlers license as you work alongside our team to provide delicious meals and beverages to our community.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking small meals
- Cut fruits and vegetables for use in prepare healthy food
- Make drinks, including coffee
- Take customer orders and ensure prompt and friendly service
Hours: Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Volunteer Requirements:
- Ages 18-84
- Food handlers license required
- Background check required
- Comfortable working in a kitchen environment and interacting with customers
