We need a strong team of responsible volunteers for Embrace’s Annual Santa’s Little Helper Respite Night. We provide FREE childcare for local foster, kinship and adoptive families so parents can go rest, recharge, shop & dine for 4 hours while their children enjoy an evening with Santa! This year’s activities include a bounce house, crafts, cookie decorating, video game truck, pizza dinner, and more. And of course, pictures with the man himself, Santa! You can be part of making this magical night a reality for some special children and deserving parents!
Some volunteers will work directly with a team of children, leading them through activities throughout the night. Other volunteers will run a “station” and instruct each group as they visit your activity. Some of our children have special needs and require one-on-one care to navigate the activities we provide.

- Pizza dinner is provided.
- You’ll be given the opportunity to select how you wish to serve.
- Background check is required for all volunteers 18 and older.
- Min age is 16 accompanied by a parent. Volunteers must commit to serving the entire evening.
