We are searching for and in need of TWO talented Social Media Specialists to represent our nonprofit by upholding and building the social media presence for our brand. The volunteer Social Media Specialist will help drive engagement by creating high-quality original content and manage our community by responding to comments and messages across all platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Formulating high quality written and visual content for each social media campaign
- Build a social media presence by maintaining a solid online presence
- Manage our online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement
- Respond to comments on each of our accounts
- Manage social media advertising campaigns
- Analyze data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved the objectives
- Attend regular meetings with the executive director
Approximate Time Required:
2-4 hours a week. You will work from home based on your schedule and directly with the executive director via Zoom meetings and email communication.
Social Media volunteers will have basic knowledge and professional experience with:
- Writing, editing and crafting content for social media
- Development and execution of social media strategies
- Experience with Canva and Wix websites
- Ability to develop the right voice for each social media platform
- Ability to measure the success of campaigns
- Experience with a variety of social media platforms
