Helping Hands with Helping Hearts is a local nonprofit that focuses on meeting the transportation needs of individuals or families who are in crisis due to automotive needs.
The successful volunteer might not have extensive experience in the field, but will be willing to dedicate the time and energy to cultivate their knowledge of development, grant writing, research, and analysis. The work can be done remotely, with some personal or virtual meetings. The estimated time per week is 10-15 hours.
We need volunteers in the following areas:
- Data Entry
Adding and maintaining donor, member & prospect constituent records in the database.
Filing all donation-related paperwork and maintaining organized filing systems electronically in Google Drive.
- Donor management
Preparing and sending thank you notes to donors, partners, and supporters.
Conducting funder follow-up by phone and email.
Tracking and reporting contributions as instructed.
- Contact Management
Responding to applicants, verification of application information.
Assembling of information packets, gift bags.
Filing of title transfers and procurement of temporary tags from DMV
Prefer an individual who has great organization skills who can strategize and help implement new systems and workflow streams
to help be us be more efficient.
