McKinney's ANNUAL MOTHER'S DAY PROJECT, FRIDAY MAY 7, 2021
WHEN -- Friday morning, May 7, 2021 - the Friday before Mother's Day.
TIME -- 9:00 am - Tree Counters, Tree Loaders, & Traffic Safety Team arrival time
9:30 am - Open-Bed Trucks arrival time
WHERE -- McKinney's WORLD COLLECTION PARK, 6452 Collin McKinney Pkwy., one-half mile north of Sam Rayburn Tollway (TX 121) between Stacy & Alma in Craig Ranch, specifically at 6452 Collin McKinney Parkway. Note: there are no restrooms on-site.
WHAT -- We'll be delivering more than 2200 trees to all 20 MISD elementary schools: Bennett, Burks, Caldwell, Eddins, Finch, Glen Oaks, Reuben Johnson, Malvern, McClure, McGowen, McNeil, Minshew, Press, Slaughter, Valley Creek, Vega, Walker, Webb, Wilmeth, and Wolford.
TYPES OF VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

20 OPEN-BED TRUCKS & YOUR HELPER/NAVIGATOR -- Deliver one-gallon trees to an elementary school

10 TREE LOADERS -- Load one-gallon trees into each truck.

5 TREE COUNTERS -- Confirm the correct number of one-gallon trees are loaded in trucks.
-
4 TRAFFIC/SAFETY CONTROL VOLUNTEERS -- Traffic control at the park entrance.
