Hello~
We are seeking volunteers who are looking for toe tappin, knee slappin fun for our Texas Heritage Festival! Activities will include western music, local artisans and vendors, Texas grub, and historical demonstrations. Most volunteer positions will be outside where you can hear the music and enjoy the day. Volunteers will be given frequent breaks so they can join in the fun. All volunteers are encouraged to wear sunscreen and bug spray. Hats are recommended as well. Feel free to wear a cowboy/cowgirl hat. Volunteers should park at our off-site parking at Sloan Intermediate School located at 440 Country Club Road, Fairview. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your shift for check-in. Any volunteer under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please feel free to sign up for more than one shift.
