Join us for a special Church Clean-Up Day as we come together to care for the place where we worship, gather, grow and care for our community. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve side-by-side, meet new people, and help prepare our community resource rooms for some much needed renovations. Help us fulfill our dream to make Grace House Community Church a welcoming space for ALL who pass through our doors.
What We'll Be Doing
We'll tackle a variety of projects both inside and outside the building, including:
· Interior Cleaning and organizing
· Moving some furniture pieces to clear space for floor renovation (furniture dollies will be provided)
· Removing and disposing of unwanted items into a dumpster
· Exterior grounds clean-up… pulling some weeds, moving some rocks, etc. (please bring gloves if you’ve got them)
There's something for every skill level and ability- Your presence matters more than anything.
Who Can Participate
Everyone! Families, teens, small groups, and individuals are all welcome. Whether you can stay for the whole time or just an hour your help makes a difference and is greatly appreciated.
Why It Matters
Keeping our church clean and welcoming is an act of hospitality. Our church is a ministry of space- working with other organizations to host and care for our neighbors. When it is in the right condition not only does it allow Grace House to care for those in need directly, it also allows many additional organizations to use the space with their specialties within McKinney and Collin County.
