The Samaritan Inn operates a grocery-store-style food pantry that serves hundreds of local families every week. If you become a Food Pantry Volunteer, you'll be a big help in our mission to get food to our neighbors who need it.
You'll work with the Pantry staff and other volunteers to:
- Help check and sort donations from the food bank, retail partners, and the community
- Help restock dry goods, produce, bread/pastries, dairy, and deli items
- Help clean and organize by breaking down boxes, taking out cardboard and trash, and cleaning coolers, shelves, and carts
Your help is needed NOW! Without volunteers like you, families may face empty shelves.

Please note:
- Volunteers will need to be able to move boxes of 20+ pounds of food and stand for the durations of your shift.
- Please wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes.
- Volunteers 14+ are welcome to volunteer alongside a parent of a legal guardian. We do not have opportunities for children under the age of 14.
