Food Pantry Volunteer Check-In

Help us create a welcoming and organized experience for every volunteer who walks through our doors! As a Volunteer Check-In Coordinator, you will be the first friendly face volunteers see when they arrive. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys greeting people, staying organized, and helping things run smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

Welcoming and greeting volunteers as they arrive

Checking volunteers in and confirming they are signed up for the correct shift or opportunity

Assisting volunteers with sign-in and directing them to the appropriate area or team lead

Answering basic questions and helping new volunteers feel comfortable

Ensuring all volunteers sign out at the end of their shift so hours can be properly tracked

Ideal volunteers are:

Friendly and welcoming

Organized and detail-oriented

Comfortable interacting with people and giving simple directions

Reliable and able to stay attentive during the shift
