Do you have a passion for storytelling through video? Are you experienced in editing content for YouTube and social media? Volunteer McKinney is looking for a creative volunteer to help us bring the magic of our 2024 Spirit of Volunteerism Awards event to life online!
What You’ll Be Doing
We're seeking a volunteer with video editing experience to help us complete two important tasks:
1. Create a Recap Video for YouTube (3–5 minutes):
- Clean up and trim a longer recording of the Spirit of Volunteerism Awards 2024 Highlight the most powerful, inspiring, and visually engaging moments from the event
- Add smooth transitions, light branding (logo, intro/outro), and background music if appropriate
2. Create Short-Form Videos for Social Media (under 3 minutes each):
- Break out key moments into short, shareable clips for platforms like Instagram and Facebook Reels
- These should spotlight individual award winners, moving speeches, and celebratory moments
Who We’re Looking For
Someone who:

Has experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, etc.)

Understands storytelling through video, pacing, and visual appeal

Knows how to tailor content for YouTube vs. social platforms

Can work independently and meet a flexible deadline
