Community Lifeline Center operates a grocery-store-style food pantry that serves hundreds of local families every week. Our Receptionists are an important part of helping our neighbors get the food they need.
As a Receptionist, you’ll:
- Greet our clients as they enter the Pantry
- Ensure they have their membership cards with them so they can check out at the end of their visit
- Register first-time visitors to use the Pantry using a provided tablet, or refer them to another Pantry if they live outside our service area
You'll need to feel comfortable using a tablet and interacting with our visitors; Spanish is a big plus but definitely not required. As a Receptionist, you may choose to sit or stand as you work. And if you enjoy your time with us, we hope you'll consider a regular shift.
