Do you love McKinney Public Library? Do you have to constantly pick up holds? Do you live in McKinney? Are you over 18 years of age? Do you have marketing/finance/auditing/fundraising/leadership skills?
If you answered yes to these questions, we need you! We meet on the fourth Tuesday every month at 6:30 p.m. at John and Judy Gay Library. The McKinney Public Library Foundation is actively recruiting for new Board Directors! You will be joining a working Board who supports your library directly. You will need to attend monthly meetings and also serve on at least two committees.
We attend many of the MPL's events to raise awareness of the Foundation and just had our first big fundraising event "Sunset in the Stacks" that was fun and successful. What we raise goes back to the library for programming, support, technology, and more, all for the McKinney community.
