List of needed supply (provided by LHOH)
Custom QR code linking to LHOH donation page for monetary gifts (provided by LHOH and specific to your drive so that impact can be tracked)
Drop-off location and deadline, as decided by you (4 weeks from start to finish)
Define Target Audience(s) and set goal: Choose a group or several groups with strong reach, such as:
Schools, youth groups, clubs, churches, sports teams, or businesses.

Solicit Donations (3 Weeks)
Week 1:
Distribute flyers (email, text, social media, paper handouts).
Weeks 2–3:
Weekly reminder text/email/social post.
One mid-week personal contact (teachers, leaders, or managers).
Best Practices
2–3 touches per week is ideal: 1 email/social + 1 personal reminder.
Share your why and how you find this project meaningful.
Avoid over-communicating; too many reminders can reduce engagement.
Collect Donations (1 Week)
Set up a central collection site (school office, church lobby, business front desk, porch).
Provide clearly marked bins with LHOH branding (provided byLHOH).
Send two reminders: opening day and 48 hours before the deadline ends.
Service Hours for Participants
To qualify for service hours, students/participants must meet a minimum contribution.
Structure:
Minimum: 15 items donated = 2 hours.
25 items donated = 4 hours.
50+ items donated = 6 hours.
Drop-Off & Celebration
At the end of the collection week, donations are delivered to the LHOH office located at 8951 Collin McKinney Pkwy #904, McKinney, TX 75070.
Coordinators should schedule a drop-off day with LHOH staff.
Group photo taken at LHOH with collected items (shared on social media, tagged with group name).
Timeline Overview
Week 0: Meet with LHOH staff, create flyer, set goal, define audience.
Weeks 1–3: Promote drive with weekly contacts and reminders.
Week 4: Collect donations.
