Donate Winter Items (Hoodies, Blankets, Gloves) For The Homeless
Update: Small throw blankets are the item most needed right now. They can be purchased at stores such as Walmart or Academy for < $4.
The cold can be a life-or-death situation, and unfortunately, this is no exaggeration due to a few incidents a few years ago. When you are homeless you can’t carry a heavy jacket around all year so when the sudden cold comes most find themselves unprepared.
We ask that any items that would help in the winter be donated. The primary items we have in mind are small throw blankets and warm outerwear such as hoodies, coats, or jackets. Beanies, gloves, and scarves are also appreciated.
