Incredible Fridays is a once a month respite ministry for families that have children with special needs. Parents bring children, including siblings without disabilities, to First McKinney for three hours. Parents can use this time to do whatever they want - shop, go on a date, relax, etc. The program is free.
Volunteers are the backbone of this ministry. We try to have at least one volunteer for each child with special needs, while siblings through 5th grade experience a fun evening in a group setting with various crafts, snacks, and activities. Training and dinner are provided and begin at 5pm.
