Join us for a fun-filled day on the golf course and support RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) volunteers at the same time. Proceeds from the RSVP Golf Classic are designated to funding many wonderful and important projects such as Combating Opioid Crisis, and Rockin' Readers/Mentoring Students. RSVP solves community problems by building successful partnerships.with nonprofits. RSVP utilizes a talent bank of experienced and knowledgeable older adult volunteers to meet ongoing requests. RSVP volunteers can be found on a daily basis serving as docents and guides, sharing information on the importance of timely immunization, assisting with public health initiatives and disaster preparedness, tutoring and reading to children and visiting with frail elderly. Last year RSVP volunteers contributed over 75,000 hours of service to over 85 Denton county agencies,
providing a savings of over $1.77 million to Denton County.
