For years this annual ball and fundraising event benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County and has been called the Chrysalis Ball. Chrysalis represents the transformation our children make from their developmental years when they may face many issues and challenges, to become productive, caring, responsible adults. We need volunteers to help with set-up the day of the event and volunteers to help with the event. Please see volunteer activites, shift times, and responsiblities listed below.

AUCTION SET UP (15 people)
8:30am –11:00am
Attire: Casual
SKILLS: Organization skills
Move auction items to display tables in auction area for table staging. Provide assistance with staging and final touches.

REGISTRATION ASSISTANT (6 people)

SKILLS: Comfortable working in fast paced environment
Assist registrar by pulling alphabetized bidder packet for guests.
PHOTOGRAPHER ASSISTANT (4 people)
5:00pm – 8:00pm
Attire: Black polo shirt, black skirt/slacks, dark shoes
SKILLS: Excellent listening skills, good spelling, comfortable speaking to people
Assist photographer by collecting the correct spelling of guests names as their photographs are taken in front of the step and repeat wall.
AUCTION TABLE MONITORS (20 people)
5:00pm – 10:45pm
Attire: Black polo shirt, black skirt/slacks, dark shoes
SKILLS: Outgoing people skills
Stationed at pre-determined locations throughout the silent auction area in teams of two. Table monitors will be responsible for item security, guide guests in the bidding process and answer guests’ questions.
