Volunteer McKinney is proud to partner with Downtown McKinney to present Shop for a Cause—a community-focused shopping event that directly supports 10 incredible local nonprofit organizations. Whether you're passionate about the arts, food security, youth support, or helping those in need, this event offers an easy and fun way to give back just by shopping!

How It Works:
From 1:00–4:00 PM, stop by nonprofit booths inside the McKinney Performing Arts Center (MPAC) to learn about their missions, grab some treats, and discover how they’re changing lives across our community.
Then take that good energy out into the streets — the first 100 attendees will receive $20 in Shop for a Cause Bucks to spend at participating downtown shops between 1:00–6:00 PM. Your shopping supports both small businesses and the nonprofits they’re partnered with. Win-win.
Your Ticket Includes:
- Access to nonprofit booths and community engagement activities
- Complimentary refreshments (yes, alcohol will be served)
- $20 in Shop for a Cause Bucks for the first 100 attendees
- A chance to meet and support 10 incredible local nonprofits
