You can be an advocate for survivors of sexual violence through our 24-Hour Crisis Hotline or through Hospital Accompaniment. Help reduce the trauma a survivor experiences from sexual violence by providing unbiased emotional support and information to survivors, family members, and friends. You will also help survivors understand their choices and support them in selecting their options.
Basic requirements for this volunteer opportunity are that you complete an application and background check, complete our 40 hr training (we provide), take at least 2 shifts a month, and participate in in-person or virtual advocacy meetings when scheduled.
Training begins on April 8th, 2025 and concludes on April 24th, 2025 ; this is a hybrid training class. (3 in person, and 7 virtual). Training is from 6pm-9pm Tuesday- Thursday with one Saturday training session.
