Who We Are
Sci-Tech Discovery Center is a 501c-3 non-profit whose mission is to provide dynamic educational experiences that inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to embrace discovery and innovation through the active exploration of science, math and technology. Initially started by the Junior League of Collin County, Sci-Tech is a local organization striving to build area students' interest in science, math, technology and engineering skills and to reinforce that interest through Mind-Stretching Fun® STEM experiences.
Sci-Tech serves North Texas' children, students and their families at its Discovery Center located in Frisco and through numerous outreach programs and events offered across the area.
What We Do
At our Center in Frisco we offer informal learning experiences via a variety of fun and intriguing hands-on, interactive exhibits and dynamic programming. Sci-Tech seeks to spark a life-long interest in STEM and help equip the area's children with valuable STEM skills.
Volunteers are an essential part of the Sci-Tech team and make an important difference to the thousands of children and families who visit Sci-Tech each year. A variety of volunteer opportunities exist to suit most schedules and interests. We'd love to hear from you!
