Who We Are

We are a volunteer group of business people, educators, and concerned citizens dedicated to eliminating food insecurity in our community.  A child, adult, or senior, may find themselves in crisis, and our dining room is open to serve a free evening meal to anyone, no paperwork required, no questions asked.

Our goal is to be a center of hope and compassion, ensuring that no one in our community suffers the fear and distress of food insecurity.  Our motto is "dining with dignity".

What We Do

The Community Garden Kitchen is open Monday through Thursday from 6:00pm - 8:00pm to serve children, adults, and senior citizens that are struggling with not having enough food to lead active, productive lives.  Volunteers, guided by a professional chef, prepare healthy, delicious meals each night.

We are like any small town, friendly neighborhood cafe.  We have individual tables, and volunteer wait staff who take our guest's orders and then serve them at their table.  Our beautiful new facility is located at 501 Howard Street on the east side of Hwy. 5.
