Prairie View A&M-Cooperative Extension Program

Serving as the CEP Family & Consumer Science agent in Collin County the mission is to help make strong productive families and individuals for the community to thrive. Financial troubles, health problems, food insecurity and family issues can be very difficult to manage from day to day, however, there is a power in knowledge that is provided through researched based programs.  

With a wide network of professional educators and over 4000 volunteers spread across 35 Texas counties, Cooperative Extension Program (CEP) strives to meet our clientele with limited resources where they are at! Giving practical researched based education, we are able to attend to the needs of families and individuals who might have limited opportunities and just need that added boost of knowledge and confidence to carry on in a long healthy productive life! CEP has programs areas for:

4-H & Youth Development
Agriculture and Natural Resources (AGNR)
Community and Economic Development (CED)
Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS)
