City Missions is a grassroots organization and 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to restoring dignity and hope to those experiencing homelessness or at risk of housing insecurity in Collin County and surrounding areas.
What began with a few socks and a willing heart has grown into a trusted, volunteer-driven mission focused on resourcing the housing-challenged with practical support and relational care. Founded by individuals with lived experience, City Missions was born out of a desire to show up on sidewalks, in parking lots, and at outreach events with presence, compassion, and consistency.
We don’t treat people like case numbers. We remember names. We listen to stories. And we believe that change begins with relationship. We call them friend.
Our approach, Resourcing First, meets urgent needs while walking alongside individuals on a path to long-term stability empowering them to reclaim their identity, rebuild their lives, and know they are never alone.
What We Do
At City Missions, we provide critical support and build meaningful relationships with individuals who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of losing their housing. Through our outreach efforts, partnerships, and future resource center, we walk with our friends through every stage of their journey, offering tools, trust, and hope.
