Who We Are

We are a faith-based organization that is constantly striving to build a compassionate community that lives the inclusive way of Jesus through the joys and struggles of life. Trinity's identity is centered around intentional love, genuine community, spacious faith, transformational growth and social courage. We are an accepting and affirming congregation. We believe that faith and science are not in conflict and the more we learn about our universe, the more our understanding of God is enlarged.

Trinity Presbyterian Church of McKinney Texas is a member of the Presbyterian Church (USA). We were founded in 1855, but over 90 percent of our members have joined in the last 20 years. We come from all over Collin County: Plano, Allen, Frisco, McKinney, Princeton, Prosper, Celina, Anna and Melissa, plus as far as Dallas and The Colony. In 2025, we celebrate our 170th anniversary and look forward to continuing to be part of the community for many more years to come.

What We Do

At Trinity, we strive to give all we know of ourselves to all we know of God, and to do everything in love. Since we are to love God with our minds, all questions are welcome. We've discovered the greatest growth comes from patiently exploring the big questions life has placed within us. We believe strongly in equipping believers with a robust contextual and historical understanding of scripture and then applying that understanding to our broader community as we engage and partner with other organizations to help the needy and marginalized, always striving to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
