The Mission of the Big Z Foundation is to embrace, raise up, and empower families facing the challenges of catastrophic childhood illness.
Our Vision is that every family experiencing catastrophic pediatric illness is cared for.
The Big Z Foundation provides a community of caring, encouragement, and hope to families knowing that someone who has walked in their shoes understands, cares, and is supporting them in their journey.

What We Do
Big Z Foundation assists families facing the challenges of catastrophic childhood illness by providing financial grants to families being treated at one of our partnering Children's Hospitals. This year more than $74,000 will be given directly to (60+) families. That is an increase from last year of almost $15,000. These grants have assisted families with rent/mortgage, essential household needs, utilities, out of pocket medical costs, prosthetics, cryopreservation, travel to and from treatment, funeral expenses, and more.
