Who We Are
The Local Good Collective is a unique network of nonprofits launched by Chase Oaks Church to help meet the needs of our community. It includes two social service organizations - Local Good Center and Local Good Pantry, as well as two social enterprises - Local Good Coffee and Local Good Resale.
We are hyper local nonprofit that makes it easy for people to connect, serve and make a difference.
What We Do
About our four distinct entities:
1. Local Good Center in East Plano offers vital social services with a focus on Adult Education, Job Readiness, Wellness, and Foster Care support.
2. Local Good Pantry, based in Richardson, provides nutritious food and essential items to those in need—always with dignity and respect.
3. Local Good Coffee in Plano is a welcoming space where neighbors and friends can gather over a cup of coffee, enjoy pickleball, volleyball, or basketball, and build lasting connections. Best of all, every purchase directly supports community transformation through the Local Good Collective.
4. Local Good Resale in East Plano offers volunteer opportunities and quality home goods. Donations of furniture, decor, and appliances help fund local initiatives—ensuring that every item given or purchased makes a meaningful impact right in the community.
