Who We Are
EMPOWERING THROUGH UNITY
Dominique Cares was formed to give hope, support, resources, and services to individuals with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, ADHD, mental illness, and all other disabilities, along with their families. Additionally, we believe we are an organization determined to bring awareness and acceptance to the community. This is possible through the partnership and collaboration of other nonprofits, businesses, the educational sector, community leaders, and local, state, and federal agencies. We are committed to increasing awareness and acceptance, fueling action to make a difference in the lives of those impacted. Together, we are better, and we are determined to make life better for someone else.
Dominique Cares provides essential services to strengthen families, addressing the lack of affordable and accessible services and lengthy wait lists for waiver programs. We also offer support through a network of community events, such as retreats, outings, and getaways, providing quality time, bonding, and support for families on the same journey. Dominique Cares aims to offer hope and encouragement, building and supporting healthy families and ensuring that they know they are not alone, as many are suffering in silence.
