Who We Are
At Pinnacle Therapeutic Riding Center, our mission is to maximize the quality of life of people through equine-assisted therapy, helping each rider reach the highest point of personal achievement. Our program is located in the north/central Collin County area where we have several lesson horses and a new facility. Pinnacle is thrilled to offer a variety of equine-assisted therapy options to better fit the need in our community.
What We Do
Therapeutic Riding: Our therapeutic riding lessons are provided with a positive and encouraging lesson environment where the focus remains on the rider improving both physically and emotionally. Physical & Speech Therapy: We offer physical therapy (PT) and speech therapy (SLP) using the skillful manipulated movement of a horse. This is sometimes called HIPPOTHERAPY. The goals are met by the unique way the horse moves the human. Hippotherapy can be preformed by a PT, SLP, and/or OT or by their assistants. This can be easily confused with therapeutic riding instruction which teaches adaptive riding skills in which the human moves the horse. Show Team Pinnacle TRC takes riders to a variety of horse shows, which gives each rider the ability to advance in both self-efficacy and riding achievements. We believe that each rider has the capability of reaching their Pinnacle in life, and we have a passion to help people get there.
