Opportunities From: Volunteer McKinney

Volunteer: Lead a Strategic Website Redesign for an International Nonprofit

Use Your Expertise to Help Restore Families

Building Families For Tomorrow is a faith-based nonprofit serving women transitioning from prison in Kenya. We provide housing, trauma-informed counseling, life-skills training, discipleship, and family reunification support so women can rebuild their lives and break generational cycles of poverty and incarceration.

In 2025 alone, 232 lives were directly impacted through our programs. As we grow, our website must reflect the excellence, credibility, and measurable impact of our work.

We are seeking a seasoned web design professional or small team to lead a strategic website redesign that strengthens brand positioning, improves donor conversion, and clearly communicates our mission.

Project Scope

We are looking for someone who can provide both strategy and execution.

Key Goals:

Optimize calls-to-action (Gala sponsors, Child Sponsorship, Mission Trips, Speaking Invitations)

Strengthen SEO structure

Clarify messaging and value proposition within 5 seconds

Improve donor conversion flow (including recurring giving)

Strengthen storytelling and emotional engagement

Elevate design to reflect credibility and professionalism

Improve mobile responsiveness and UX

Ideal Volunteer Profile

5+ years experience in web design, UX/UI, or digital strategy

Experience with nonprofit, ministry, or mission-driven brands preferred

Strong understanding of donor psychology and conversion design

Familiarity with platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, or similar

Ability to guide messaging hierarchy and brand clarity

Portfolio demonstrating clean, modern, high-performing websites

What You’ll Gain

Executive-level collaboration with the Founder

A meaningful international impact project for your portfolio

Measurable results tied directly to fundraising growth

Opportunity to serve a mission restoring families and transforming futures

Public recognition (if desired) on our website and at our annual Gala

Why This Matters

A strategic, high-performing website will directly increase:

Monthly donors

Gala sponsorships

Mission trip participation

Child sponsorship engagement

Your expertise won’t just redesign a website — it will help open doors for women and children rebuilding their lives after incarceration.
