About Little Hearts of Hope

Founded by Kerri Steele after her family faced the terminal cancer diagnosis of her husband, their three children struggled to make sense of what was happening in their family. The Hope Package program encourage kids to process their emotions through the Word of God and teaches them practical tools for handling those emotions. Family bonds are strengthened, trust is built, and lines of communication are opened as the families work on these activities together. These no cost monthly mailings provide much needed hope during the difficult journey of a cancer diagnosis.

At Little Hearts of Hope, we're on a mission to make a real difference in the lives of children grappling with the trauma of a family member's cancer diagnosis. We're seeking passionate individuals to join our board of directors and help steer our organization towards greater impact and reach.

Responsibilities:

As a board member, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our initiatives and ensuring that our programs effectively meet the needs of the children we serve. Responsibilities include:

Attendance at board meetings (held on the 3rd Monday of every month) Engaging actively in discussions and decision-making processes Offering your expertise and support to advance our mission Contributing to the growth and sustainability of our organization

Little Hearts of Hope is looking for board members who have a passion for helping hurting children. We are actively recruiting to expand our committees. If you are interested in serving on a finance committee, fundraising committee, or communications committee, please reach out. This opportunity will require between 2-4 hours a month, generally speaking.
