Provide unbiased emotional support and information to survivors, family members and friends. Help survivors understand their choices and support them in selecting their options. Duties: Crisis Intervention Emotional support Provide resources Take crisis hotline or hospital accompaniment shifts when availableRequirements: Ability to empathize and provide non-judgmental support Good listening skills Weekend and evening availability Ability to complete 40 hours of training certified by the Office of the Attorney General Take a minimum of 2 shift per month Must be fully vaccinated against COVID19 Next Training is May 12th - 28th If interested please complete this application, Volunteer Application then we will follow up with an interview and background check.
