Join us in conserving and restoring the natural beauty of the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center’s 66-acre property! As a Conservation & Habitat Restoration Volunteer, you’ll play a hands-on role in protecting this vital ecosystem by: Removing invasive weeds through hand-pulling, digging, and herbicide treatments using hand-held and backpack sprayers.Clearing overgrown areas by removing trees and shrubs that threaten native prairie growth.Supporting ongoing conservation efforts to maintain a healthy environment for local wildlife, including birds of prey.About Us: Blackland Prairie Raptor Center is dedicated to environmental preservation through public education and the conservation of birds of prey and wildlife in their natural habitat.
