Join us in making a real difference in the lives of our homeless neighbors by helping them overcome barriers and rebuild their lives. As a Case Aide, you'll play a crucial role in removing barriers and facilitating access to housing support programs for those in need.

Working closely with our dedicated case managers, your main tasks will involve engaging with clients, gathering essential information, and assisting in their enrollment process into a housing support program. Don't worry if you're new to this - comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you're equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to make a real difference.

To ensure we provide consistent support and maintain efficient service, we ask that case aides come at least 2 days a week and spend at least 3.5 hours per day. We are open to clients 10 am - 4 pm, Monday through Friday , except for national holidays and other specially designated dates which will be posted on our website.

Duties include:

Assemble packages of items for clients Process and organize clothing donations Inventory supplies

We're looking for volunteers who can commit to one weekly shift, ideally on the same day and time each week. HRM is open M-F from 10 am to 4 pm, except for national holidays and other specially designated dates which will be posted on our website.

Opportunity to change someone's life.

Work with our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless. Help clients develop personal action plans so that they are equipped to become self-sustaining and securely housed, and by so doing, to restore hope.

Key Responsibilities:

Determine nature of client’s situation by interviewing client, assessing their needs including medical, psychological/mental, income/employment, and family information. Establish a course of action by exploring options and setting goals with client. Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress and modify action plans accordingly. Offer information and advice on the best course of action during sessions. Maintain accurate detailed records and report on clients’ status.

Flexible Options: Can be done virtually by phone or in person at HRM office. For the sake of continuity and to serve clients in timely fashion, we ask that case managers serve at least 3.5 hours per shift and at least 2 days per week.

Training Provided: No prior experience necessary! We offer comprehensive training to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role.

54% of homeless people have degrees beyond high school level. 

Only 5% of homeless have a diagnosed mental illness or drug/alcohol addiction.

On average, 4,244 individuals experienced homelessness on a single night in 2023 in Collin and Dallas Counties.

Hope Restored Missions is a nonprofit 501(c)3 agency that restores hope to the hopeless by coming alongside of those who are experiencing homelessness or are at-risk of becoming homeless.

We provide assistance to obtain housing, replacement of lost or stolen critical personal documents, referrals to community resources such as medical services, and employment readiness. Clients also receive food packets, hygiene kits, and clothing. We do all this while developing relationships with our clients so that they know they are "seen and heard" as individuals and not treated as "case numbers."  Our ultimate goal is to restore hope to the hopeless.
