Looking for Current and Retired Teachers!

TLT – Tomorrow’s Leaders Today, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping develop youth leaders through education, collaboration and mentorships with community & business leaders for the collective benefit of the students and their communities.

Purpose:
Looking for volunteers to be part of our programming support team to help plan, prepare and facilitate our Spring 2026 Intern session.  In 2025 we served 170 interns, all 100% remote.

Program Support Responsibilities can include:
 Reviews syllabus and resource material and provides input for improvement in 27 position areas

 Help with onboarding Spring 2026 interns.  Conduct remote group interviews, revew applications, send welcome letters, set up shared drives, emails, send welcome letters

 Facilitate one or more of the Tuesday initial orientations and ongoing team meetings

 Serves as internal/external linkages for TLT to open doors to further the organization’s mission and vision.

 Help with 1x1 sessions

 Review intern weekly projects

 Participate in the development and implementation of the committee work plan

Time Commitment For Committee Members
  Program support should anticipate being available an average of 3‐4 hours per week, hours generally scheduled 8am through 430pm.  Can be done in office or remote post training.

Committee Expectations:
 The Communications Committee will provide written reports to the full Board of Directors of any actions taken, meetings held or discussions that have occurred.
 Committee will assist with intern project reviews through share drive access.
 Committee will visit or facilitate at least three weekly team meetings. 
 Develop and update intern syllabus and position descriptions.
 With support from staff, submit objectives and a work plan for the committee as part of the planning and budgeting process.
 With support from staff, evaluate its work as a committee and the objectives it has committed itself to and report on same to the Executive Director.
 Any members who have not attended regular meetings or documented activities to promote the committee’s objectives for a period of 2 consecutive months will be removed from the membership list.

Board Meetings are held virtually and in person, 2nd Tuesday of January, March, May, August, October, and November 5:30PM to 6:30 PM, locations vary in Collin County.

TLT – Tomorrow’s Leaders Today, Inc seeks adults to serve on its Managing Board. The Managing Board is responsible for helping our Executive Director serve the mission of our organization: to develop tomorrow’s leaders today through education and community collaboration.

The TLT – Tomorrow’s Leaders Today, Inc Board meets bi-monthly on the second Tuesday of the month. Board members must attend bi-monthly meetings and serve on a committee: scholarship, fundraising, volunteers, programming, and/or solicitation.
