Volunteer Position: Social Media Manager

Position Overview: Are you passionate about social media and its power to make a difference? LIFT R&R is seeking a creative and driven Social Media Manager Volunteer to join our team. In this role, you will help amplify our mission, engage our community, and drive awareness for our programs and events.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation: Develop and curate engaging content, including posts, graphics, and videos, that align with our mission and resonate with our audience.Strategy Development: Create and execute social media strategies to increase our online presence and foster community engagement.Community Engagement: Manage and grow our social media platforms by interacting with followers, responding to comments, and fostering positive relationships.Campaign Management: Plan and implement social media campaigns to promote upcoming events, initiatives, and success stories.Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of our strategies and provide recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and best practices.Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Passion for nonprofit work and commitment to LIFT R&R’s mission.

Position Overview: LIFT R&R is seeking a dynamic and motivated Fundraiser to join our team. This role is crucial in driving our fundraising efforts and securing the financial resources needed to support our programs and services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our mission and skilled in creating and executing effective fundraising strategies. This is a volunteer opportunity with the potential for a Board of Directors appointment. 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Fundraising Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive fundraising plans, including events, campaigns, and initiatives to meet financial goals.Donor Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, ensuring regular communication and engagement.Event Planning: Organize and oversee fundraising events, including logistics, promotion, and execution to maximize attendance and donations.Grant Writing: Research and apply for grants, crafting compelling proposals to secure funding from foundations and other grant-giving organizations.Campaign Management: Plan and execute online and offline fundraising campaigns, including social media, direct mail, and email outreach.Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report on fundraising progress, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in fundraising or related roles, preferably in the nonprofit sector.Strong skills in donor relations, event planning, and grant writing.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in fundraising software and tools is a plus.Passion for nonprofit work and commitment to LIFT R&R’s mission.
