Friday August 7th at 6 pm we are looking for sociable Green Cord or NHS volunteers to mingle at the Jazz at the Museum event free of charge to participate in Jazz trivia, take photographs  and all around fun time for posting on the website
And hours will be provided. Green Cord teams and NHS team welocmed as well as individual Green Cord/MHS students.

Responsibilities will be to check in modelss

Steaming of clothes as necessary hanging clothes

Setting up snacks and water

and other miscellaneous items to help designer

Hi charitable donors,

We are in need of a dehumidifier for our Victorian Carriage  house. We hold multiple events for the community in this carriage house. During the summer time moisture gathers in the house and portable 2200 sq foot coverage dehumidifier is needed to keep the air drier.

If you can donate it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Volunteers with this triple digit weather we are in need of volunteers to keep our garden flowers and plants looking good. Seeking volunteer to take and day or more to water each morning at 8:30 am

Dear Volunteers

We were robbed!!  We lost 6 throw pillows and  washable covers.1 gallons black paint for cast iron rails and 2 gallons of white concrete paint we use for our parking lot stripes, drop cloths and paint brushes.

You can donate out right any of these and you will recive a donor receipt

Or you can provide for hours of your time to order pickup and deliver. The hours are as provided below

 Pillows and cases 16x16 or 16x 20  4hours provided

for each gallon of white parking lot paint 2 hours

one gallon black paint for iron rails 2 hours

drop clothes or sheets of plastic to lay on ground 1.5 hour

paint brushes 1 hour for every 2 paint brushes( 2 and 3 inch size)

Any teams individuals will be counted separately (ie one team member must supply what is needed) and then i will add up for the team the total hours

When you sign up YOU MUST TELL ME WHAT YOU ARE PURCHASING IN YOUR COMMENTS OR TEXT ME when I text you to confirm. So that i will not get too many of one item

Its time for our annual event Art meets Fashion for the Heard Craig Center for the Arts. There will be several positions available and will be posted separately.

This posting is for volunteers to transfer our big easels from the main house to the auditorium across the street. There are 2 dates and times avaiable. You may sign up for one or both. One is the day before and the other is the day of the event. See custom times

As you know there is a lot of preparation that goes into hosting an event like this for our community. Come be a part we certainly apprecciate your service.

Please note the number of hours may depend on the number of volunteers. Be assurred you will have minimum of 1 hour.

seeking 6 volunteers to serve the luncheon.

DATE August 29th

TIME: 1045-12:15pm

RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve our guests, one server per table. to serve and meet the food and drink needs of     

                                    your  assigned table

ATTIRE: White top black bottoms ( pants or skirts) 

                closed toed shoes...sneakes are acceptable

                clean, no tears halters jeans or midriffs

                Long hair must be pulled back

Held at 306 Church Street (Auditorium) across fro the Heard Craig Center for the Arts

This is a big event please do not sign up unless you are sure you will be able to complete this opportunity on the date asssigned 

Once you have signed up on Volunteer McKinney you will be texted to provide your confirmation. You have 36 hours to confirm or be removed from the list

We are seeking 4 volunteers to help with dishwashing and drying of dishes, etc

after our art and fashion community show

If you like things nice a tidy we need you!

DATE August 29th

TIME 12:00- 1:30

RESPONSIBILITY To wash all dishware brought to you and dry and stack. You may be needed to transfer clean dishes across the street to the Center

Please come and help make ths community event a success in preparation for the next time

Hi Volunteers,

Our  verandah and grounds cleaning continues to be very successful. Thank you all who have participated. It is now your opportunity to join the crew in this opportunity to keep our Historic Home in the best of shape for our community to enjoy!

This occurs every other Saturday from 8:30-10:30 beginning June  We are starting earlier due to the heat factor. You can sign  up for one or sign up for as many as you can perform. We welcome you. Great opportunity for families and groups too. Dress according to the weather in work clothes  and bring water. and bug spray if needed. We supply every thing else.

Once you are signed up with VM I will text you for a confirmation. You must confirm to maintain your spot You have 48 hours before removal

An opportunity to volunteer to serve and help clean up for a chapter of one of the oldest clubs in America.

DATE: Saturday August 1st

TIME: 1045-1 pm

ATTIRE: ALL BLACK, or White blouse or shirt and black slacks, trousers, or skirt

No halters, cutoffs, jeans midriffs, torn or sandless..close toed shoes or sneakers are allowed

RESPONSILBILITIES:

PREPARE WITH OTHER VOLUNTERS TO  SERVE COFFEE, TEA, AND WATER AND LUNCHEON. TO CLEAR TABLE AND PLACE TABLEWARE IN THE DISHWASHER AS WELL AS WASH MORE FRAGILE ITEMS AND PUT AWAY

DAR is one of the  many clubs that the Heard Craig Center for the Arts provides for in addition so that they may serve the communty also.

If you are reliable come join us for this opportunity.

The Heard Craig Center for the Arts is seeking a person who can come anytime they may be available during the week to blow leaves. gather and dump in can.THURSDAYS  (Saturdays if called to help) would be best but we can discuss when we meet.

We have a gardening service that comes once a week (Monday) but in the mean time leaves continue to gather through out the week.

We want to keep our beautiful garden clutter free for the enjoyment of the community.
