Open Board Position for Special Needs Non-Profit

We are looking to 2 individuals interested in joining our Board.  Our non-profit is committed to building a strong community where individuals with disabilities are valued, respected and included.  We believe every person, regardless of ability, deserves dignity, opportunity and a nurturing environment to thrive.  Our non-profit hosts 3 signature events yearly, plus 3 community outreach activities.  The Board position will be for 1yr (may be extended) and requires a 30min to 1hr weekly commitment.  However, the 2 week window prior to and during an upcoming event or activity, that commitment will temporarily increase to 4 to 6hrs.  If you're passionate about serving and supporting children and adults with physical or intellectual disabilities, and interested in learning more about the position then reply and you'll be invited to an PRIVATE informational meeting on Saturday 7/25 at the Frisco Library.  This is a working board, volunteer non-paid position.
