It's time to sign up for the event we have all been waiting for - Halloween at the Heard! This year's event is Saturday, October 17th, 6 to 10:00 p.m. for guests. This event is going to be great fun with trick-or-treating at our Animatronic Dinosuars along a lighted trail, a ghost town in our children's village, haunted woods for the older children, a movie for all ages, a costume contest, games, and more. This is a sell-out event with lots of adorable little ghosts and goblins toting candy sacks and having fun.
We could not pull this event off without the help of our outstanding volunteers! Volunteers are free to enjoy the event after their shift. Please use the following link to sign up for the event.

Volunteer McKinney will have a trailer on site to provide drinks and snacks.
Parking for volunteers will be at Sloan Middle School located at 440 Country Club Road in Fairview. Shuttle service will run from 5:00 to 10:30 to bring volunteers to the museum. Please arrive at the museum at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your shift. Please allow extra time to ride the shuttle to the museum.
Join the fun and dress up in costume if you would like! (please remember that this events attracts young families, so nothing too gory!) For volunteers who have signed up for an outside opportunity, please bring a flashlight if you have one.
