We need a strong team of responsible volunteers for Embrace’s 8th Annual Santa’s Little Helper Respite Night. We provide FREE childcare for local foster families so parents can go rest, recharge, shop & dine for 4 hours while their children enjoy an evening with Santa! This year’s activities include a bounce house, crafts, VIDEO GAMING TRUCK, pizza dinner, games, and of course, pictures with the man himself, Santa! You can be part of making this magical night a reality for some special children and deserving parents!
Some volunteers will work directly with a team of children, leading them through activities throughout the night. Other volunteers will run a “station” and instruct each group as they visit your activity. Many of our children have special needs and require one-on-one care to navigate the activities we provide. You’ll be given the opportunity to select how you wish to serve. Background check is required for all volunteers. Volunteers must be ages 18 and up. Volunteers must commit to serving the entire evening.
